Strategy and Governance Department (SGD)<\/b><\/p>

The Strategy and Governance Department (SGD) at the Centre for Foundation Studies, International Islamic University Malaysia (CFS IIUM) serves as the backbone of institutional planning, governance, and quality management.<\/p>

The department is entrusted with ensuring that CFS\u2019s operations, initiatives, and performance remain aligned with IIUM\u2019s Vision and Mission. It promotes a culture of strategic thinking, accountability, and continuous improvement across all administrative and academic functions.<\/p>

SGD plays a central role in coordinating the Centre\u2019s strategic plan implementation, monitoring institutional performance, and ensuring compliance with governance and quality standards, including ISO 9001:2015<\/b>, for which CFS IIUM is certified by SIRIM<\/b>. In line with CFS\u2019s commitment to integrity and transparency, the department also supports the implementation of the Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) ISO 37001:2016<\/b>, adopted by the Centre in 2021 to strengthen ethical and accountable practices.<\/p>

Through its commitment to transparency, efficiency, and strategic foresight, the Strategy and Governance Department contributes to CFS\u2019s aspiration to be a well-managed and forward-looking centre that nurtures excellence in line with IIUM\u2019s philosophy and values.<\/p>
