Department of Biology: Inspiring Stewardship of Allah\u2019s Creation<\/b><\/p>

The Department of Biology was established in June 2010. It acts as a preparatory platform to provide the fundamental knowledge of Biology for the Biological and Nursing Modules. The Department of Biology comprises 13 academic staff members, three Assistant Science Officers, and one Personal Assistant, all of whom collectively contribute to the department’s mission.<\/p>

The Sejahtera Academic Framework serves as inspiration for the Department of Biology\u2019s commitment to nurturing students as holistic individuals who recognize their role as khalifah (vicegerents) of Allah S.W.T on Earth. Guided by the principle that all knowledge is a trust from Allah S.W.T, the Department strives to develop engaging educational initiatives that integrate academic excellence with moral and spiritual consciousness.<\/p>

Programs such as microscopy workshops, study skills, student development, and community engagement were among the initiatives carried out to cultivate students\u2019 appreciation of Allah\u2019s creation, strengthen their environmental stewardship, and foster personal growth in line with Islamic values. These programs aim not only to enhance intellectual capacity but also to inspire a sense of responsibility towards sustaining the balance (mizan) of the environment as commanded by Allah.<\/p>

In fulfilling its amanah, the Department of Biology also monitors and reports students\u2019 academic performance in programmes: Foundation of Dentistry, Medicine, and Pharmacy. Academic Advisors, through the Department Briefing and Sharing Sessions by CFS alumni, encourage students to persevere in their academic journey with sincerity (ikhlas), resilience (sabr), and gratitude (shukr), recognizing that all success ultimately comes from Allah S.W.T.<\/p>

We pray that ALLAH S.W.T. may grant us the opportunity to continuously educate and nurture our students so that they may benefit the ummah.<\/p>
