The program is uniquely designed to set a strong foundation to students&#8217; understanding of both legal knowledge; civil and Shariah as well as basic legal skills for them to pursue a degree in law. Upon successful completion of this course, students can choose to pursue their Bachelor or Laws (LLB) or Bachelor of Laws (Syariah) (LLBS) at the Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws (AIKOL). Manned by qualified and experienced academics coming from various legal backgrounds, the Department of Legal Studies, CFS IIUM has become one of the leading centres in offering quality law foundation It provides an overview and introductory knowledge of Islamic law. It covers the meaning of relevant terms, characteristics, objectives, as well as the sources of Islamic law.
