The programme was held at the Senate Hall, IIUM Gombak, with a livestream provided to the Banquet Hall, IIUM Kuantan, and Studio Al Ghazali 3, IIUM Gambang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\">The programme aimed to enhance participants\u2019 understanding of the University\u2019s strategic direction, organisational structure, and current challenges. It provided a platform for new leaders to build networks, strengthen collaboration, and align their roles with institutional priorities to ensure organisational effectiveness and sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\"><strong>Key Sessions and Highlights<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\">The programme featured a series of structured sessions led by the University\u2019s top management and senior administrators:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul style=\"font-size:18px\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Opening Speech:<\/strong>&nbsp;The programme was officially opened by the&nbsp;<strong>IIUM Rector, Professor Emeritus Datuk Dr. Osman Bakar<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Session 1: IIUM\u2019s Strategic Initiatives towards Ummatic Excellence:<\/strong>&nbsp;This panel discussion featured&nbsp;<strong>Prof. Dato\u2019 Dr. Ahmad Faris Ismail<\/strong>&nbsp;(Deputy Rector, Academic and Internationalisation),&nbsp;<strong>Prof. Dr. Mohamed Aslam Mohamed Haneef<\/strong>&nbsp;(Deputy Rector, Research, Innovation and Development), and&nbsp;<strong>Prof. Dr. Amir Akramin Shafie <\/strong>(Principal Director, Academic and Internationalisation). The session, moderated by&nbsp;<strong>Dr. Siti Zubaidah Anuar<\/strong>, focused on the University\u2019s core strategic goals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Session 2: Good Governance \u2013 Human Resource:<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>Madam Wan Najihah Nurashikin Wan Abdullah<\/strong>, Executive Director of the Management Services Division, discussed human resource management and its role in maintaining institutional governance and supporting the University\u2019s workforce.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Session 3: Role of the Deans:<\/strong>&nbsp;A panel comprising&nbsp;<strong>Prof. Dr. Gairuzazmi Mat Ghani<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd Azrul Azlen Abd. Hamid<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nor Ilyani Mohamed Nazar<\/strong>&nbsp;shared insights into the responsibilities and leadership expectations of a Dean. The session was moderated by&nbsp;<strong>Mr. Ahmad Ashaari Alias<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Session 4: Issues and Challenges:<\/strong>&nbsp;The final session, moderated by&nbsp;<strong>Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammad Mohiuddin<\/strong>, involved a panel of experts from the&nbsp;<strong>Office of the Legal Adviser<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Office of Knowledge for Change and Advancement (OKCA)<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Research Management Centre (RMC)<\/strong>, and the&nbsp;<strong>Development Division<\/strong>&nbsp;to address current operational and institutional hurdles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\">This initiative plays an important role in ensuring leadership readiness and supporting the smooth transition of new leaders into their roles. By exposing participants to governance frameworks and strategic initiatives, the&nbsp;<strong>ILC<\/strong>&nbsp;continues to support the University\u2019s overall effectiveness and long-term
