The Sejahtera Centre for Sustainability and Humanity (SC4SH), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM)<\/strong>, in collaboration with CENSERVE<\/strong> organised an engaging session on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD)<\/strong>, connecting sustainability values with meaningful action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The session explored \u201cImplementing Education for Sustainable Development (ESD): Global Perspectives and Future Directions,\u201d<\/strong> offering students valuable insights into global sustainability challenges, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)<\/strong> and UNESCO\u2019s vision for advancing ESD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With 30 IIUM students<\/strong> participating, the session encouraged reflection on how young people can turn sustainability knowledge into action through education, innovation, community engagement and responsible everyday practices<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The programme also highlighted the role of higher education in nurturing sustainability-minded future leaders and strengthening students\u2019 capacity to contribute meaningfully to their communities and a more sustainable future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
