The Credited Co-Curricular Centre (CCC) or formerly known as Credited Co-Curricula Department (CCD) has been establishes on July 2001 via approval of IIUM Senate Meeting No. 256 held on 25th March 2001.
Credited Co-Curricular programme enables the University to produce balanced graduates reflected as follows:
- Able to face the challenges posed by the new millennium with the emergence of the borderless world; and
- Able to interact with their environment and perpetually striving for excellent in pursuit of the true meaning of Ihsan.
The CCC aims to:
- Enhance the spiritual and intellectual knowledge of IIUM students as a way uphold the university’s mission to produce a well-rounded graduate; and
- Empower students skills sets; and
- Support the university’s aim in developing the students’ holistic personality.
CCC offers more than 100 credited co-curricular courses comprises of the Mainstream, Niche and Uniform/Government Structured Programs trained by well-experienced Lecturer/Trainer/Instructor/Facilitator (LTIFs) appointed by the University each semester.
Students are required to fulfil a minimum of 3 to 6 credit hours according to each Study Plan as part of University’s Graduation Requirement.
