Credit Awardance
Introduction
Credit Awardance is an academic recognition mechanism introduced by the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) to formally acknowledge students’ meaningful learning experiences beyond the classroom. Endorsed by the University Senate, this initiative allows eligible students to earn academic credit through verified participation in approved activities such as national or international competitions, student leadership and committee involvement, and representation of IIUM in high-impact events. Coordinated by the Credited Co-Curricular Centre (CCC), the credit awardance process ensures that all recognitions are evaluated based on clearly defined criteria and Course Learning Outcomes, upholding fairness, transparency, and the University’s commitment to holistic education.
