The MOU was signed by IIUM Rector, Prof. Emeritus Datuk Dr. Osman Bakar and Dr. Zurina Abd Ghani from IIUM Leadership Centre.  Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF) was represented by H.E. Taha Ayhan and Mr. Rasul Omarov. The objective of the MOU between IIUM-ICYM is to establish a general basis for social, cultural, and academic cooperation, including scientific publications, study programs, educational projects, seminars, conferences, joint research projects, joint publications, and any other data and information of common interest.

To launch an active cooperation under ICYF’s flagship academic training and diplomatic simulation program by establishing an effective MOIC Club and organising annual events and activities at the premises of the University; and

Any other areas of co-operation to be mutually agreed upon by the Parties.
