The programme was conducted by IIUM Leadership Centre in collaboration with Management Services Division and Jabatan Perdana Menteri (JPM). It was an initiative by the Akademi Kenegaraan Negara, JPM aimed at empowering Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) management to lead guided by MADANI values—leadership that priorities humanity, justice, wisdom, and balance in fulfilling responsibilities i.e Values-based Leadership. This program is designed to cultivate HEIs’ visionary leaders capable of addressing the challenges of the modern world, aligning with Malaysia’s aspirations to be a progressive and prosperous nation. A meeting between IIUM and JPM was held on 30th October 2024 to discuss further the conduct of the programme.
PROGRAM KARISMA PEMIKIR MADANI focuses on HEIs’ talent development, strategic thinking skills, and the ability to manage change while considering diverse perspectives in decision-making. Through intensive training, continuous mentoring, and participation in workshops with renowned MADANI thought leaders, participants will be shaped into leaders who excel not only in organisational management but also in contributing to societal and national well-being.
Overall, the programme serves as a platform for IIUM future leaders to empower themselves to face the challenges of the 21st century, inspire positive change, and embody leadership values rooted in integrity, ethics, and a dedication to the people of Malaysia.
