Certification Structure

The MPPI Assessment Competency Structure:

  1. Defines baseline competencies deemed important for an assessment professional.
  2. Recognizes and certifies an educator’s proficiency in assessment with different competency levels, namely “Foundation”, “Intermediate”, “Competent,” “Advanced,” and “Expert.”
  3. Assures stakeholders that the title refers to teachers and lecturers who have demonstrated the achievements of the baseline competencies to execute assessment tasks.
  4. Communicates clear expectations to members for them to assume and fortify their assessment behaviors.
  5. Addresses educator’s skills gaps, enhances their strengths, and provides feed forward for them to chart their progression as professionals.
  6. Facilitates staff mobility, shape organizational change, and foster organizational culture.
  7. Contributes to the quality, growth, and sustainability of Islamic Education, given its unique beliefs and philosophy.
