Course Synopsis
This course is specially designed to acquaint students with the knowledge and practical skills needed
for both oral and written communication. The disered knowledge centers around the general principles
of public speaking, written skills and self esteem.
Course Objective
The objectives of this course are to enable students to:
1- Apply the general principles of public speaking and formal writings.
2- Produce formal writings
3- Apply public speaking skills, appropriately in different contexts.
LMBD 2202
BAHASA MELAYU KERJAYA
(PERUNDANGAN)
Course Synopsis
This course is designed to equip Malaysian law students with oral and written skills in
bahasa Melayu which will cater their occupational needs in the Malaysian legal service. The course
covers legal expressions and terminologies, basic legal communicational skills and arguments,
report writing, translations of English texts into bahasa Melayu and identifying common errors in bahasa
Melayu. It also covers language and communication skills usage in profesional and formal work situations.
Course Objective
The objectives of this course are to enable students to:
1- Recognize simple instruction.
2- Communicate in everyday situation.
3- Construct short sentences and simple essays.
4- Produce simple translations in meaningful context.

BAHASA MELAYU KERJAYA
(PERNIAGAAN)
Course Synopsis
This course is compulsory for all Malaysian students in the Kulliyyah of Economics and Management
Sciences. It is specially formulated to prepare students with the knowledge and practices of bussiness
communication skills in bahasa Melayu.
Course Objective
The objectives of this course are to enable students to:
1- Apply appropriate economics/ business register.
2- Produce economics/ business writings.
3- Apply public speaking skills appropriately in different contexts.

BAHASA MELAYU KERJAYA
(SAINS DAN TEKNOLOGI)
Course Synopsis
This course is specially formulated to prepare students with the knowledge and practices of
scientific skills in bahasa Melayu. The course covers topics such as public speaking,
technical report, meetings, minute writing, project paper, interviews and translation.
Course Objective
The objectives of this course are to enable students to:
1- Write appropriate scientific register.
2- Apply public speaking skills appropriately in different contexts.
3- Translate scientific text in meaningful context.
