I hope this email finds you well amidst the busy season of marking final exam scripts. I understand the intense effort and dedication this task demands, which is why I am excited to offer you a refreshing and creative break.

You are cordially invited to join TDU’s upcoming workshop, Crafting Compelling Short Story (with AI). It is hoped that by the end of the workshop, we can use the skill and knowledge to write our very own “CELPAD Classroom Chronicles: Tales of Teaching”, an ebook which we hope to publish soon.

This workshop is scheduled on this coming Friday. The details are as follows:

• Time: 9 am – 12 pm
• Duration: 3 hours

Please take note that i-Attend is open to record your attendance from 8:30 am to 12:30 noon. The links and QR codes are on the poster.

This is an online workshop whereby the first 2 hours I will share with the participants on how to write a short story with ChatGPT AI prompts and then the last hour is for the participants to try and write their own short story. Insha Allah, there will be another workshop on editing and proofreading of your short stories.

This 3-hour session will provide a unique opportunity to step away from grading and delve into the art of storytelling, focusing on our rich experiences and memorable interactions in the classroom. Using the innovative capabilities of AI ChatGPT, we will guide you through crafting compelling short stories that reflect your teaching journey. It’s a perfect chance to rejuvenate your mind, share your narratives, and connect with fellow educators in a creative and supportive environment.
