CREATING RUBRICS FOR STUDENT ASSESSMENT
The Centre for Professional Development would like to invite all IIUM academic staff to enroll in training which will be held as follows:
Topic: Creating Rubrics for Student Assessment
Speaker: Prof. Ts. Dr. Wong Su Luan, Faculty of Educational Studies, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM)

Program Outcomes :
Upon completion of the training, participants will be able to:
- Define and explain the purpose and components of a rubric.
- Identify the key characteristics of a well-designed rubric.
- Create rubrics for various assessment tasks such as essays, presentations, and projects.
- Apply rubrics effectively to provide feedback and assess student learning.
- Utilize rubrics for both formative and summative assessment
