CPD TRAINING (ELU) : THE FUTURE OF EDUCATION: FLEXIBLE LEARNING PATHWAYS FOR DIVERSE NEEDS

The Centre for Professional Development would like to invite all IIUM academic staff to enroll in training , which will be held as follows:

Topic: The Future of Education: Flexible Learning Pathways for Diverse Needs 
Speaker: Prof. Datin Dr. Santhi Raghavan, Vice President/ Deputy Vice Chancellor (Learner Experience & Technology),Open University Malaysia (OUM)

PROGRAM OUTCOMES

By the end of this, participants will be able to:
1. Understand the foundational principles of flexible learning pathways and their role in modern education.
2. Identify successful strategies from OUM that can be adapted to support a variety of learner profiles.
3. Explore institutional frameworks that facilitate flexibility while maintaining academic integrity and learner support.
4. Consider how flexible models can be applied across faculties and departments to increase student engagement and retention.
5. Reflect on the strategic implications of adopting flexible learning for future-ready education planning.
