The Centre for Professional Development (CPD) would like to invite all IIUM academic staff to enroll in this training, which will be held as follows:
Topic: The Open Educational Resources & Inclusive Open Educational Resources Roadmap: Bridging Barriers in Education

Asst. Prof. Dr. Sh Fatimah Alzahrah binti Syed Hussien (Deputy Dean, International institute of Islamic Thought and Civilisation, ISTAC-IIUM)

Programme Outcomes:
Upon completion of the programme, participants are expected to:
– Explain the philosophical foundation and benefits of OER in enhancing educational accessibility.
– Apply the 5R rights and Creative Commons licensing to support open educational practices.
– Analyse the critical role of inclusive OER (iOER) in addressing physical, cognitive, and technological learning barriers.
– Examine the use of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles to foster equitable and inclusive curriculum design.

Participants who are successfully selected will receive a confirmation email after the registration closing date.

CTD points will be awarded to participants who:
1. Complete the i-Attend record
2. Are recorded in Zoom attendance for the required duration
3. Submit the evaluation form within 24 hours
