The Centre for Professional Development would like to invite all IIUM academic staff to enroll in training which will be held as follows:

PROGRAMME OUTCOMES: 

• Understanding of COIL Principles: Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the principles and pedagogy underlying Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) and its significance in higher education. 
• Practical Implementation Strategies: Attendees will learn practical strategies and best practices for designing, facilitating, and integrating COIL projects into existing curriculum structures and courses. 
• Development of Intercultural Competence: By engaging with case studies and examples of successful COIL projects, participants will enhance their understanding of intercultural communication and collaboration, preparing them to effectively navigate cross-cultural interactions in globalized contexts. 
• Preparation for COIL Integration: Through discussions on overcoming challenges and barriers to COIL implementation, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and resources necessary to confidently embark on their own COIL initiatives, fostering enhanced student learning outcomes and global perspectives.
