CPD TRAINING (EMCU): BUILDING GLOBAL CLASSROOMS: ADVANCED TECHNIQUES FOR COLLABORATIVE ONLINE INTERNATIONAL LEARNING (COIL)

The Centre for Professional Development would like to invite all IIUM academic staff to enroll in training , which will be held as follows:
Topic: Building Global Classrooms: Advanced Techniques for Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL)

PROGRAM OUTCOMES

By the end of this, participants will be able to:
Define the concept and core principles of Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL)
Identify key elements required for designing and implementing a successful COIL project.
Demonstrate how to plan a basic COIL module in collaboration with an international partner.
Select appropriate digital tools to facilitate synchronous and asynchronous COIL interactions.
Apply strategies to foster intercultural communication and collaborative learning in online settings.
Evaluate sample COIL activities based on relevance, inclusivity, and intercultural learning objectives.
