CPD TRAINING (EMCU): DESIGN THINKING FOR COURSE DEVELOPMENT: ENGAGING MODERN LEARNERS

The Centre for Professional Development would like to invite all IIUM academic staff to enroll in training , which will be held as follows:
Topic: Design Thinking for Course Development: Engaging Modern Learners

PROGRAM OUTCOMES

By the end of this, participants will be able to:

– Explain the key stages of the Design Thinking process in the context of course development.

– Identify the needs, motivations, and challenges of modern learners through empathetic analysis.

– Apply Design Thinking strategies to generate creative solutions for improving course structure, content, and delivery.

– Outline a basic plan for incorporating one Design Thinking stage into a course they currently teach.
