The Centre for Professional Development would like to invite all IIUM academic staff to enroll in training which will be held as follows:

Topic: Postgraduate (PG) Supervision Tips & Tricks 
Speaker: Prof. Dr. Salina Kassim, IIUM Institute of Islamic Banking and Finance (IIiBF) 
Date / Day: 22nd March 2024 / Friday 
Time: 09:00 am – 11:00 am

Programme Outcomes : 

Upon completion of the training, participants will be able to:

• 1. Establish and maintain productive working relationships with their postgraduate students. 
• 2. Set clear expectations and develop effective communication strategies for successful supervision. 
• 3. Provide constructive feedback to guide students in their research and writing. 
• 4. Monitor and manage student progress efficiently and address potential challenges. 
• 5. Promoting well-being and work-life balance is important to both supervisors and postgraduate students.

2. Recorded in Zoom attendance for a minimum of a certain duration

3. Fill in the evaluation form within 24 hours
