Mustang Horse
The Mustang, which is in a striking mode symbolizes that the athletes of IIUM are always ready to face any challenges and that they are prepared from every aspect; emotional, mental and physical.
- A symbol of unbridled energy and strength that has permeated to the all IIUM athletes.
- As a symbol of strength, courage, independence, unquestionable energy which also describes the IIUM athletes.
Gold
The color Gold is used for the logo as it symbolizes the highest rank in a competition and that is what all athletes of IIUM aim for. They do not want to come in as second best, thus they will try their very best to achieve the gold medal in every competition held and to glorify the university’s name.
Black
The color black symbolizes that IIUM athletes emphasize fair play in every competition and to ensure that every medal received is of honesty and dignity in accordance with the university’s policies and visions. Besides that, the color black represents the boldness and the passion of each athlete of IIUM in striving for the best in every competition. They stand firm and will never surrender as those chosen to represent the university are of those who are strong and eager for victory.
Red
The red color symbolizes the burning spirit of winning in every athletes of IIUM. Besides that, it represents the athletes’ courage and the hunger for victory.
