BACKGROUND

The IIUM Sports Development Centre is responsible towards the development of sports activities of the university. The Centre has produced many talented athletes through their participation in the annual Malaysia University Sports Council (MASUM) Games, Institutes of Higher Learning (SIPMA) Games, ASEAN University Games and World University Championships. The athletes will be awarded according to their achievement at the national and international participation.

  OBJECTIVES

The objective of the Mustangs Sports Award Ceremony is as follows:

1.1         To motivate IIUM students to excel in sports activities

1.2         To inspire, share and promote the athletes’ achievement with their colleagues as to encourage them to be involved in sports

1.3         To recognize the contribution and dedication of the students who sacrifice their time and underwent hardship during training session to represent IIUM
