Grand Launching of programme i-TAAJIR ENTREPRENEURSHIP 3.0
SUMMARY
The i-Taajir Entrepreneur Mentorship Program, organized by the Centre for Islamic Economics (CIE) under the Kulliyyah of Economics and Management Sciences, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), marks its third successful edition with the aim of nurturing ethical and competitive Muslim entrepreneurs. The launching ceremony, held on Friday, 31st October 2025 at the i-Taajir Entrepreneurship Lab, CIE-CIMB Bank, reflects IIUM’s ongoing commitment to empowering students and the community with practical entrepreneurial knowledge rooted in Islamic values. Notably, several alumni from previous cohorts have successfully expanded their businesses, with some operating booths around the campus, serving as inspiring examples for new participants. More than just a training initiative, i-Taajir continues to be a valuable platform for mentorship, networking, and collaboration between students, academics, and industry partners such as CIMB Bank, fostering an ecosystem of resilient and shariah-compliant entrepreneurs.
