CPD Webinar: Embedding Values-Based Education: Understanding, Aligning and Implementing VBE in the IIUM Curriculum

The Centre for Professional Development (CPD) would like to invite all IIUM academic staff to enroll in this training, which will be held as follows:
Topic: Embedding Values-Based Education: Understanding, Aligning and Implementing VBE in the IIUM Curriculum

Programme Outcomes:
Upon completion of the programme, participants are expected to:

1. Explain the MQA Values-Based Education (VBE) framework, including its core components and the expected approaches to delivery in teaching and learning.

2. Relate IIUM’s position and philosophy on VBE to our own syllabus by mapping VBE elements to existing course learning outcomes, content and assessment. 3. Design a practical plan to implement VBE at course and programme level, covering teaching activities, assessment and evidence for continuous quality improvement.

Participation from administrative staff requires approval from the immediate supervisor and may register HERE.

Participants who are successfully selected will receive a confirmation email after the registration closing date.

CTD points will be awarded to participants who:
1. Complete the i-Attend record
2. Are recorded in Zoom attendance for the required duration
3. Submit the evaluation form within 24 hours
