GOMBAK, April 7 – The IIUM Leadership Centre (ILC), in partnership with the Management Services Division (MSD) and the Office for Strategic and Institution Transformation (OSIT), successfully conducted the Enhancement on Job Analysis Programme today at the Alumni Lounge, IIUM Gombak.
This hands-on workshop was specifically designed for Heads of Administration across various Kulliyyah, Centres, Divisions, Institutes, and Offices (KCDIO). The programme serves as a critical step in assisting university administrators with the practical implementation of Competency-Based Talent Management (CBTM) within their respective units.
The primary objective of the workshop was to ensure that job analysis outputs are not merely administrative records but are strategically aligned with the University’s broader organisational goals. Participants were guided through processes to match job requirements with current strategic priorities and performance expectations.
By focusing on competency-based frameworks, the programme aims to refine how talent is managed and deployed within the University, ensuring that every administrative role contributes effectively to the institution’s mission.
The collaboration between the ILC, MSD, and OSIT underscores a unified approach to institutional transformation. By providing Heads of Administration with these practical tools, the University ensures a more cohesive and performance-driven workforce.
The successful completion of this workshop highlights the ILC’s ongoing commitment to leadership and administrative excellence. Through such targeted initiatives, the University continues to strengthen its governance structures, ensuring that its talent management systems are robust, transparent, and fully aligned with the requirements of a dynamic academic environment.
