GOMBAK, April 10 – The IIUM Leadership Centre (ILC) successfully conducted the Professor–Fellow Lecture Series No. 4/2026, featuring the renowned scholar of Comparative Religion, Professor Dr. Kamar Oniah Kamaruzaman. The programme was held at the Senate Hall, Muhammad Abdul Rauf Building, IIUM Gombak Campus.
This initiative was organised by the ILC as the lead organiser, in collaboration with the Office of the Rector and the Office for Communication, Advocacy and Promotion (OCAP). The series continues to serve as a platform for university leaders to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and mentorship while providing insights into contemporary leadership challenges and intellectual thought.
The fourth session for 2026 was titled “Revamping Humanity Through Religions” and moderated by the Rector of IIUM, Professor Emeritus Datuk Dr. Osman Bakar.
The Professor–Fellow Lecture Series aims to broaden the perspectives of university leaders, strengthening their understanding of leadership within a dynamic and interconnected world. The successful execution of this session underscores the ongoing commitment of the ILC, the Office of the Rector, and OCAP to enhancing academic governance and achieving Ummatic Excellence.
