ENHANCEMENT ON JOB ANALYSIS PROGRAMME: ALIGNING TALENT WITH STRATEGIC PRIORITIES FOR KUANTAN AND GAMBANG CAMPUSES

KUANTAN, April 14 – The IIUM Leadership Centre (ILC), in a strategic partnership with the Management Services Division (MSD), the Office for Strategic and Institutional Transformation (OSIT), and the Office of the Campus Director (OCD) Kuantan, successfully conducted the Enhancement on Job Analysis Programme at the Senate Hall, IIUM Kuantan Campus.

Following the earlier session held at the Gombak campus, this hands-on workshop was specifically organised to assist Heads of Administration within the Kuantan-based Kulliyyah, Centres, Divisions, Institutes, and Offices (KCDIO). The programme focused on the practical implementation of Competency-Based Talent Management (CBTM), a key framework for the university’s administrative evolution.

The workshop provided a collaborative environment for administrators to refine their job analysis outputs. The primary goal was to ensure these outputs are directly aligned with the University’s organisational goals, strategic priorities, and performance expectations.

By participating in this hands-on session, Heads of Administration were equipped with the tools to better define roles and responsibilities within their units, ensuring that human resource efforts support the university’s broader mission of academic and administrative excellence.

The collaboration between the ILC, MSD, OSIT, and OCD Kuantan highlights the university’s integrated approach to institutional transformation. By decentralising these training efforts to the Kuantan campus, the university ensures that all administrative leaders are consistently trained in the latest talent management methodologies.

The successful completion of this programme reaffirms the ILC’s commitment to enhancing the quality of university governance. Through the implementation of CBTM, the University continues to build a high-performing workforce that is strategically positioned to meet the demands of a dynamic higher education landscape.
