The Islamization of Human Knowledge (IOHK) unit, CELPAD, will be organizing a monthly Surah al-Kahfi recitation.  The event will take place physically in the CELPAD Sejahtera Garden and CELPAD Foyer in front of the TEMU Office, on the first Friday of every month. The objective of the programme is to internalize one of the sunnahs of our holy prophet as prescribed in the hadith:

مَنْ قَرَأَ سُورَةَ الْكَهْفِ فِي يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ أَضَاءَ لَهُ مِنَ النُّورِ مَا بَيْنَ الْجُمُعَتَيْنِ

“Whoever recites Surat al-Kahf on Friday will have a light (guidance in his life) between this Friday and the next.”   (al-Sunan al-Kubrá 5856)

The event of this month is scheduled as follows: 

Date/Day: 8 December 2023 / Friday

Venue: CELPAD Sejahtera Garden/Foyer

• 8.20 am – Arrival of participants.
• 8.30am – Recitation of Surah al-Kahfi led by Ustaz Muhammad Bin Ab Rahman,
•                   Tilawah Division.
• 8.50 am – A Short Tazkirah by Dr Marsufah Binti Jalil, Quranic Language Division.
• 9.00 am – Disperse.

All CELPAD staff are invited to this session to embrace the Light of al-Kahfi.

وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «اعْبُدُوا الرَّحْمَنَ وَأَطْعِمُوا الطَّعَامَ وَأَفْشُوا السَّلَامَ تَدْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ بِسَلام» .رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ وَابْن مَاجَه

‘Abdallah b. ‘Amr reported God’s messenger as saying, “If you worship the Compassionate One, provide food, and greet all Whom you meet, you will enter paradise in peace.” Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah transmitted it.
