The workshop is organized by the Centre for Islamic Economics (CIE) at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) and features Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hassanudinn Mohd Thas Thaker as the key speaker. Dr. Hassanudinn is an Associate Professor of Financial Economics and a CIE Research Fellow with over 200 published research articles spanning Islamic finance, ESG, fintech, and affordable housing.
Rather than staying purely theoretical, the workshop centers on practical data manipulation using R, giving participants actionable skills to process and visualize real-world financial signals.
