عن عائشة رضي الله عنها قالتْ: قالَ رسولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم : «الذي يقرَأُ القرآنَ وهو مَاهِرٌ به مع السَّفَرَةِ الكِرَامِ البَرَرَةِ، والذي يقرَأُ القرآنَ ويَتَتَعْتَعُ فيه وهو عليه شَاقٌ لَهُ أجْرَانِ».

[صحيح] – [متفق عليه، أوله من البخاري إلا أنه فيه: “حافظ” بدل “ماهر”، وآخره لفظ مسلم]

‘Ā’ishah (R.A.H) reported: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: “The one who recites the Qur’an skillfully will be in the company of the noble and righteous messenger-angels and the one who reads the Qur’an, but stutters and finds it difficult, receives a double reward.”  Sahih Al-Bukhari and Muslim
