IIUM PG Ta’aruf Week for New Postgraduate Students Semester 1, 2025/2026 (COMPULSORY to attend online)

Dear IIUM new PG students,

Greetings to all,

We are pleased to inform you that the Ta’aruf session for new postgraduate students will be held from 30 September – 3 October 2025. This online and physical programme aims to welcome you to the University and introduce IIUM’s vision, mission, philosophy, and academic regulations. Please refer to the poster for more information regarding the activities available.

The details of the Ta’aruf Session are as follow:

Session      : Ta’aruf Session for IIUM Postgraduate Students (New Intake Sem 1, 2025/26)

Date / Day : 30 September 2025 – 3 October 2025 / Tuesday – Friday (Malaysia Date/Day)

Time             : 9.00 am – 5.00 pm (Malaysia Time)

Mode            : Online – (Physical session: Outing session and Meet Up with CPS Top Management sessions are limited and only for registered applicants)

Attendance is compulsory for all newly matriculated postgraduate students. Kindly confirm your participation by 29 September 2025 through this: https://bit.ly/registrationform-sem1-2025-26 . Attendance will also be taken during the Ta’aruf Week.

There will be 2 physical sessions; however, please be informed that only registered applicants are allowed to attend physical sessions due to limited seats. We encourage you to register early if you wish to join. Please ensure that you are able to attend physically on campus and are not abroad during the session.

i) Ta’aruf Week Physical Outing

Outing session to the landmark nearby the IIUM Gombak Campus. Depart from IIUM Gombak to IIUM KL Campus ISTAC and many more landmark venues. Those students who are physically available at IIUM Gombak Campus on the 2/10/2025 can register for the Physical Outing.

ii) Physical High Tea Session with Centre for Postgraduate Top Management.

High Tea or “Teh Tarik” session with the CPS IIUM top management. Students can vibely ask questions related to Postgraduate in IIUM with the Dean and Deputy Deans in a chill, free and easy session. Those students who are physically available at IIUM Gombak Campus and Kuantan Campus on the 3/10/2025 can register for the physical High Tea session.

New students are also encouraged to attend the Kulliyyah Briefing organized by your respective Kulliyyah. The schedule and details are available at respective DDPG Kulliyyah offices and will be updated regularly.
