📢 Announcement: EPT Format Update & Schedule for New Intake (Sem 1, 2026/2027 – Batch 1)

Welcome to IIUM! Please take note of an important update regarding the English Proficiency Test (EPT), along with the schedule for the upcoming proficiency tests.

🌟 Important Update: Enhanced EPT Format

To provide a more comprehensive assessment, the EPT format has been upgraded. Previously, the test assessed 2 skills (Reading and Writing only). Starting this semester, the test will cover all 4 language skills: Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking.

📅 Key Dates & Schedule

*EPT/APT Briefing Session:

   -Date & Time: Friday, 18th September 2026 | 2:45 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

   -Platform: Online via Google Meet

*English Proficiency Test (EPT) – PG:

   -Listening, Reading & Writing: Saturday, 19th September 2026 (8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.)

   -Speaking: Sunday, 20th September 2026 (8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., according to your slot)

*Results Released: 25th September 2026 at 4:00 p.m. via i’Ma’luum

*Arabic Proficiency Test (APT) – PG:

   -Date & Time: Saturday, 19th September 2026 | 2:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
