MAHALLAH REGISTRATION FOR NEW INTAKE POSTGRADUATE (PG) STUDENTS

Mahallah application will be revoked for late registration cases without prior notification issued to the applicants once the semester has begun. Change of Mahallah / room is not allowable for first year students unless with a valid medical reason.

 

HOSTEL FEE

The Hostel fee includes the electrical appliances fee for one regular semester. Staying for more than half of the semester is considered staying for the whole semester, and a refund is not applicable.

*Payment of the Mahallah fee is in advance before the collection of room keys.
*No refund on the accommodation fee charged for regular semester if student stays more than two (2) months.
*Any request for refund shall be submitted to the Finance Division (Student Unit) together with verified checkout slip by Mahallah Officer and subject to the Financial Policy currently enforced.

The electrical appliances fee is applicable for the authorized electrical items as follows:

1. Automatic Kettle
2. Set of Personal Computer with Printer/ Laptop
3. One Power Extension and Charger for Laptop/ Phone/ Tab
4. Hair Dryer
5. Iron
6. Toaster

Other than the above electrical items are considered illegal / unauthorized electrical appliances and subject to compoundable offence.

 

IIUM PREMIUM ROOM (GOMBAK CAMPUS ONLY)

IIUM Premium Room is a female student accommodation that has been upgraded with new furnishings and paintwork, funded on a one-off basis by individuals or organizations.
