We are pleased to inform you that the Ta’aruf session for new postgraduate students will be held from 24th February – 27th February 2026. This online and physical programme aims to welcome you to the University and introduce IIUM’s vision, mission, philosophy, and academic regulations. Please refer to the poster for more information regarding the activities available.

The details of the Ta’aruf Session are as follow:

Session: Ta’aruf Session for IIUM Postgraduate Students (Sem. 2, 2025/2026)

Date / Day : 24th February 2026 – 27th February 2026 / Tuesday – Friday (Malaysia Date/Day)

Time: 9.00 am – 3.30pm (Malaysia Time)

Mode: Online – (Physical session: Closing Ceremony anf Iftar Jama’ie with CPS Top Management sessions are limited and only for registered applicants)

Attendance is compulsory for all newly matriculated postgraduate students. Attendance will also be taken during the Ta’aruf Week.

There will be physical session; however, please be informed that only registered applicants are allowed to attend physical session due to limited seats. We encourage you to register early if you wish to join. Please ensure that you are able to attend physically on campus and are not abroad during the session.

Physical Session: Closing Ceremony and Iftar Jama’ie (IIUM Gombak Campus)

Closing Ceremony and Iftar Jama’ie session with the CPS IIUM top management. Those students who are physically available at IIUM Gombak Campus and on the 27th February 2026 (Friday) can register for the Iftar Jama’ie session.

New students are also encouraged to attend the Kulliyyah Briefing organized by your respective Kulliyyah. The schedule and details are available at respective DDPG Kulliyyah offices and will be updated regularly.
