FUNCTION:
Responsible for assisting students by leading directing and administering the overall functions and supervisions of student activities and visibility, wellbeing and their involvement in community based engagement;
Strategic responsible for all research functions, including government and industry partnerships and research training;
Oversees the research and innovation projects within the University’s Strategic Plan to ensure the University is meeting its objectives in relation to research and innovation
Developing and promoting the culture of efficient and effective teaching, learning and research;
Responsible for the operation of the University’s research related divisions as well as the Information Technology Division and Library;
Monitoring teaching and Learning process by incorporating E-learning eco-system;
Coordinating the implementation of postgraduate research and learning eco-system;
To maintain on overview of skill development programmes within the centre and in consultation with the Deputy Rector (Academic and Planning) be responsible for spending graduates assistantship funding allocated to the centre
