GOMBAK, March 26 – The IIUM Leadership Centre (ILC) successfully hosted the Professor–Fellow Lecture Series No. 3/2026, featuring the distinguished scholar Professor Dr. Amir Hossein Zekgroo. The programme was held at the Senate Hall, Muhammad Abdul Rauf Building, IIUM Gombak Campus.

This initiative was organised by the ILC as the lead organiser, in collaboration with the Office of the Rector and the Office for Communication, Advocacy and Promotion (OCAP). The series continues to serve as a platform for university leaders to engage with global ideas, broaden their perspectives, and foster interdisciplinary dialogue and mentorship.

The third session for 2026 was titled “Manuscript Culture: Revival of Islamic Intellectual and Artistic Heritage” and moderated by the Rector of IIUM, Professor Emeritus Datuk Dr. Osman Bakar.

The series provides valuable insights into contemporary leadership challenges, governance, and intellectual thought within a dynamic and interconnected world. The successful execution of this session reflects the ongoing commitment of the ILC, the Office of the Rector, and OCAP to strengthening academic governance and achieving Ummatic Excellence.
