Gathering in the remembrance of Allah and the recitation of the Qur’an is among the most noble acts of worship. As narrated by Abu Hurairah (ra), the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“No group of people gathers in one of the Houses of Allah to recite the Book of Allah and study it together, except that tranquillity descends upon them, mercy envelops them, the angels surround them, and Allah mentions them among those who are with Him.”
(Sahih Muslim)
In line with this blessed tradition, the Islamization of Human Knowledge (IOHK) Unit, CELPAD humbly invites all staff to take part in our Monthly Surah al-Kahfi Recitation, held on the first Friday of every month.
This gathering aims to revive a sunnah of our beloved Prophet ﷺ—the recitation of Surah al-Kahfi on Fridays—while offering a precious moment to pause from our routines, soften our hearts, reflect upon the meaning of life, and renew our role as servants of Allah and His khalifah on earth.
