Welcome to the 2nd International Conference on Future and Sustainable Education (ICFSE 2026)

The 2nd International Conference on Future and Sustainable Education (ICFSE 2026) is an international multidisciplinary conference organised by the Centre for Foundation Studies (CFS), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), in collaboration with Universitas Lambung Mangkurat (ULM), Indonesia and Universiti Al-Quran Al-Sultan Abdullah Ahmad Shah Pahang (UNIQSAAS).

The 2nd International Conference on Future and Sustainable Education (ICFSE 2026) will be held on 12–13 October 2026 at IIUM Gambang Campus, Pahang, Malaysia. Under the theme “Rethink, Reconnect, Rebuild: Shaping Sustainable Education,” the conference aims to foster meaningful discussions and collaborative partnerships that contribute to a more inclusive, sustainable, and future-ready educational landscape.

Building upon the success of ICFSE 2024, this conference serves as a global platform for educators, researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and students to exchange ideas, present research findings, and explore innovative solutions to contemporary educational challenges. Participants are invited to contribute to a wide range of areas, including Academic Leadership & Management, Teaching and Learning, Innovation in Education, AI & Digital Transformation in Education, Tawhidic Epistemology in Education, and Social Responsibility & Community Engagement.

Through interdisciplinary dialogue and knowledge sharing, ICFSE 2026 seeks to inspire transformative educational practices and strengthen academic collaborations at both national and international levels.

In addition to paper presentations, ICFSE 2026 features a research poster competition, providing a dynamic platform for researchers, educators, and students to showcase their innovative ideas, ongoing projects, and research findings. The competition encourages knowledge sharing, interdisciplinary engagement, and creative approaches to addressing current and future challenges in education, while recognising outstanding research contributions through a range of conference awards.

Accepted papers will be published in the conference e-Proceedings, while selected papers will be considered for publication in reputable indexed journals.
