Following the recent organisational restructuring by the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), the functions of the Sejahtera Centre for Sustainability and Humanity (SC4SH) have been redistributed as follows:
- The Community Engagement & Youth Empowerment Unit has been placed under the Student Affairs and Development Division (STADD), effective 15 April 2026.
- The Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) Unit, together with the UniCORE courses SCSH 1201 (Sustainable Development), SCSH 2163 (Usrah in Action 1), and SCSH 3164 (Usrah in Action 2), has been placed under the Credited Co-Curricular Centre (CCC), effective 27 April 2026.
- SC4SH remains in operation, with the Master in Sustainability Science (MSSCI) continuing under its purview.
Future Enquiries
In view of these changes, SC4SH will no longer be responsible for the management and coordination of matters related to SCSH 1201, SCSH 2163, and SCSH 3164.
